Why offer free period products?

We've been distributing period products unconditionally in public spaces for years now and we've seen how people respond - not just by people who use them, but also those who don't, don't yet, or won't ever. WithBecause it's not just a convenience or a courtesy, it's a demonstrated commitment to gender equity.
Positively.
Across Victoria, employerss, public spaces and guest destinatons are makign this small, managable change to accomodate menstruation. Thereby fixing a system fixing a system whereby bathrooms only comprehensively accomodated the needs for a part of the population, and not all.And by making period products accessible in their bathrooms, they're also effortlessly decreasing both period stigma and poverty.Inequity is a hard topic and complex issue. But sometimes, the soltuiosn are simple.

ABOUT

Reducing our (Un)Sustainable Impacts

We are transparent about reducing our impacts whilst delivering a professoinal standard of sanitary servicing.

Sanitary waste is, by definition, wasteful.

But we're working to minimise these impacts. Our bin liners are made from 100% PCR LDEP (post-consumer #### bags) and organic materials. The Project's waste transport systems have the lowest carbon footprint of all sanitary service providers.Units that reach end-of-life are recycled or repurposed with third parties. We also offer sanitary bins that are made from 100% recycled plastic.Bin liners made from 100% post-consumer recycled and minimal carbon emissions systems for waste transport. The most transparent sanitary waste company in Melbourne. Sanitary waste processing systems negate environmental impacts of compostable or 'biodegradable' bin liners, which is why we use 100% post-consumer recycled LDPE bin liners. We report both on enviornmental and social impacts,

The first month is free.

Join Project TP at no cost. No commitment. No obligation. Start with hi.

We keep services consistent, and costs low. Priced as low as $12.5 per service, no set-up costs, no fuel levies, no contracts, no fuss.

FAQ

Do I really need a sanitary bin report?

We get it. The service reports will never be a bestseller. We don't expect all customers to read it. But you're busy and we're discreet - you won't always know that we've been, so the report is your peace of mind. It's also our means to proactively note any maintenance items on our end (mechanical failures, scuffed bins etc. We also keep tabs on waste volume. If we anticipate your needs are outgrowing the service plan, we'll recommend an adjustment.

What happens if we need an additional service in between our scheduled visits?

If we're in the area, we promise we'll nip past at low to no cost. Because there's no lock-in contracts, we can easily adjust your service schedule. We'll always find a cost-accessible way to ensure continuity of service.

If we make period products free, won't people help themselves to extra period products?

Ok. Let's get one thing straight. No-one is helping themselves to an extra pad out of greed, let alone stealing period products.Maybe someone takes a couple of tampons for later, but we dream of a tomorrow where all washrooms are stocked with period products. Then they're not even considered free. Then they're just like TP. They're standard. Period.

So are you a business or a charity?

We are not a charity (at least not yet) but without sounding too angelic, we are charitable. To ensury transparency, Project TP will be undertaking B-Corp certification in 2026. And we're an open book, so happy to talk you through our books in addition to your Impact Reports.

Can I donate periods or tampons?

Omg yes! We can collect these at our service vist. If you want to cut out the middle man, you can buy them online here.
